WELCOME.

From 1980 I worked for 14 years in the Building Control Offices of Clydebank, Renfrew and Dumbarton District Councils leaving in 1994, by then a Senior Building Control Officer, to join forces with Bob Hay and Richard Davis to form The Hay Lough Davis Partnership. For the last 22 years I have been providing surveying and architectural services with the Partnership.

Over the last 36 years I have had the experience of working with a wide variety of clients and projects from small domestic extensions, new build houses, office buildings,  industrial units, agricultural units, education sector projects, healthcare and leisure projects. I also have a wealth of experience in dealing with listed buildings and conservation areas. Some examples of my work can be seen in my project portfolio pages.

Whether you wish to diagnose and effect repairs to a defective building, make alterations to an existing building or erect a new building I can help with a value for money, personal, and where necessary, an innovative service.

My services can be tailored to your individual requirements, whether it be restricted to the submission of applications for Planning Permission and Building Warrant or for the management of your project all the way through to completion.

I am a Member of  the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, which actively regulates it's members to ensure that clients, particularly domestic clients, receive a fair and honest professional service. So you can have the peace of mind that as a Chartered Surveyor my services are regulated by RICS and that my services are also backed with the protection of professional Indemnity Insurance.

I am also a Member of the Association for Project Safety so I can provide the full range of services needed to comply with the CDM Reg's, the Construction ( Design and Management ) Regulations 2015.
